AMSTERDAM

Amsterdam is a lively city filled with lots of bikes and sights. From the Jordaan you walk (bike) within 20 minutes to all the highlights this city has to offer. It starts at the end of the Bloemgracht where you can see the majestic Westerkerk, next to which you will find the Anne Frank house. A world famous museum. Around the corner is the lively shopping area “the 9 streets” nine small shopping streets connecting the three major canals. It offers a great diversity of shops, cafe’s and restaurants.  A bit further you’ll get to the Palace on the Dam. If you walk down the Damrak you’ll get to Central Station. On the left side you’ll find a pedestrian tunnel taking you to the IJ-side where you can take a free ferry to the north side of Amsterdam. An area worth discovering. If you walk down the Prinsengracht, you’ll get to the Rijksmuseum. Go down its beautiful underpass (musicians will often fill the space with wonderful music helped by its great accoustics) towards the Museumplein. The Stedelijk (Modern Art) Museum, Van Gogh Museum, Moco Museum and Concertgebouw all surround this square. You could spend the whole day here looking at art.
It’s a small hop towards the Vondelpark. Ideal spot to relax, have a picnic, watch dogs play and have a local beer at the “Blauwe Theehuis”
